The Moon and Lotuses

Artist’s Note

Tall lotuses rise from the water, holding ip the radiant full moon in the desert sky.

The desert moon of New Mexico and the lotuses that blooms in water are opposites,
yet they blend like light and shadow within the same world.

From the lotus, I learn the quite strength of life and from the moon, I pray for hope.
